The queen of cycle paths
The queen of cycle paths, Via Claudia Augusta, leads right across Tyrol, meaning it also passes through the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. More than 700 kilometres long, the historic trail takes cyclists through three countries. It begins in Donauwörth in Bavaria, Germany and ends in the country of “dolce vita”, Italy.
The section that passes through the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is over 140 kilometres long and leads from Füssen to the Fernpass towards Landeck.
The exertion on the trail is well worth it, as it takes you to Lake Blindsee and Lake Fernsteinsee with its island and ruins. Our MOHR tip: On warm summer days, make sure you plan in a break at Lake Blindsee, which belongs to the hotel, and enjoy the refreshing, crystal-clear water!
